I'll get to it eventually...

Books for young readers have been separated by age appropriateness recently (YA, MG, Childrens) - but in my day, middle grade would have been shelved in with the 'Juvenile,' too. When I go back to my favorite classics and fantasy, a lot of it is MG. And that's okay with me!Ceceliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02249223364936344560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3873036011530033335.post-11037962083392631662012-03-05T21:23:56.661-05:002012-03-05T21:23:56.661-05:00I've just finished The Apothecary by Maile Mel...I've just finished The Apothecary by Maile Meloy and it is really wonderful. Am now reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and The Unforgettable Coat. All three are MG. And I didn't even know this was going on! I've never been so fond of YA books. They so often are issue oriented whereas the younger books just tell plain good stories. I like MG. Is that new? I've always known this as 'juvenile.'Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3873036011530033335.post-89899253598683340952012-03-05T16:05:54.976-05:002012-03-05T16:05:54.976-05:00Love it. It seems like MG has been getting a ton more positive attention lately - which it absolutely deserves!
