“‘It was my elbow,’ she said. ‘When I was a chimney sweep.’
His gaze fell to her hands. ‘Why keep it?’
So that she’d never forget what it was to wriggle through hot, narrow shafts, when one slip could mean her death.”

Great teaser. I'll be reading this one soon too.
That's quite a teaser. Can't imagine what's going on there, but I think I'd want to keep my elbow, too!
My teaser
Hadn't heard of this one, but it sounds really interesting. Great teaser!
Yikes! ! !
This gives such silly mental images. Is she sitting next to her elbow? Is it some inanimate object that she strapped to her elbow? Is she armless? Ok, not so funny that - but really an odd quote. :)
Sounds like she has a lousy job. Great teaser!
