bloggiesta – well, what did i do?

Sunday, April 1, 2012 |

I rather impetuously decided to ‘do’ Bloggiesta this weekend. I put up an ambitious (for me!) To Do List. Unsurprisingly, I did not complete everything I set out to do. But! I am happy with the changes, challenges and tasks I was able to complete. And in the time I wasn’t ensnared in the world of blog beautification, I managed to go to a Capitals practice, brunch afterwards, and to have three girlfriends over for pizza, game and movie last night. And tonight I’ll go off to my weekly ball hockey game. In all? A very satisfying weekend.

Yes, but what did I DO for Bloggiesta?

Added a Privacy Policy – many thanks to Jacinda for the tip!

This was fun! It was definitely made better by the social interaction. I’ll participate again in the future, for sure. If you took part in Bloggiesta, what was your biggest take away?

Great job! I only managed to get one review written and scheduled, but like you said, the great thing about to-do lists is we can always extend the deadline! My biggest take away was learning about Mister Linky and Pinterest, two things I want to take greater advantage of in the future!

good for you! I like bloggiesta lots--even when I don't get everything done I want to, it's very energizing.

Charlotte: I know just what you mean! The renewed enthusiasm for all things 'blog' is a good outcome of the weekend, whether you finish the to-do list or no.

Wow, you got a lot done! I'm impressed. I didn't get done quite as much as I hoped- schoolwork took longer than planned- but now I have a great list to go over things when I have time in the coming weeks.

You did great Cecelia :) I'm always curious about Privacy Polices, should I do one? What are they for? xD

Anyway, I also read about SEO. It's good to finally understand it!

hmm privacy policy is awesome, i loved getting stuff done and knowing I wasn't alone in doing it. Your list is great!! Congrats on getting as much as you did done. And now your motivation is great for the rest of the week and beyond.

Looks like you got quite a lot done. I always end up with a longer to-do list at the end of these events than I started with (and that's after accomplishing a lot). Oh well, looks like I got a head start on the list for the next Bloggiesta! I love visiting everyone to see what they've accomplished!
