teaser tuesday (14)

Tuesday, October 6, 2009 |
It's Teaser Tuesday, a bookish blog meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Here's how it works:

Grab your current read and let it fall open to a random page. Post two (or more) sentences from that page, along with the title and author. Don’t give anything vital away!

“He wishes his bullets were the real thing. He wishes he could truly take these wastes-of-life out rather than just taking them down. Maybe then they wouldn’t be so quick to run – and if they did, well, no great loss.”

-p. 39 of Neal Shusterman’s Unwind

Thanks for visiting me. Great teaser, is he a cop!!!!!

If his bullets aren't real than what is he using? If he is a cop, I'm sure he isn't alone in his thinking.

Thanks for stopping by...

Such disdain and unhappiness in this teaser. Is he a detective trying to track people down?

I am intrigued. What is he doing with bullets that aren't real? Hmmm...need to check out what this book is about.

It is so cool reading a teaser from a book I know nothing about -- I started trying to guess what was going on!

hey! great teaser. i loved the lines you have chosen.
sometimes when i visit these wonderful book blogs, i sm overwhelmed by the amount of material that is there to read and the amounts i would end up not reading before i die :D
another problem that plagues me is the fact that most of these books are unavailable in indian book stores..restricting my reading genres.

oh, this is my teaser :)
